Roll Up Banners Summary

Roll up banners, roller banners, cassette banners, pull banners – call them what you want but they are a great product for temporary use for an event or indoor display.

What is a roller banner:

Roller banners are printed PVC signs attached to a cassette that allows you to easily fold up the banner sign. The cassette is normally light wight and easily transported in your car or van.

Most roll up banners arrive in a carrier bag (unless specifed) and contain the aluminium cassette which has folding twist stands to prevent the banner from falling over.

The banner is clipped to a snap rail that can be pulled up to reveal the full banner. The banner is then held up using the pole provided that attaches to the cassette and the top snap rail.

As the cassette roller is spring loaded, once you’re finished the banner – just remove unclip the standing pole and the banner will self-retract into the cassette.

It’s important to let the pull up banner freely roll up, as it may cause issues within the cassette. Instead, use light tension continously until the banner has fully retracted.

Roller banner materials:

Roller banners can be supplied in a variety of different grades of materials. We prefer to use a lay flat material that reduces that amount of “curling” you might see over time.

Light stop PVC material is also best to prevent any shadows or light behind the banner showing through the material. This may make the print hard to read and may show the support pole behind the banner.
